I am both delighted and proud to introduce Mount Sion C.B.S. Secondary School to you through our website and give you an insight into our vibrant and exciting school community.

Mount Sion C.B.S is the first Edmund Rice School in the world and has been educating boys at this historical site for over two hundred years. We are part of the Edmund Rice School's Trust ( E.R.S.T.) network of schools. Edmund Rice was a very compassionate person and we pride ourselves in being a very understanding and caring school where the needs of all learners are catered for.

As Principal, I am proud to be part of a community of highly qualified and dedicated professionals who strive to achieve high standards in their work. Our teachers work diligently to ensure that all of our students achieve their full potential and experience success. We value student welfare and strive to provide the best support services that we can provide to support our learners during their six years in our care.

My wish for students in Mount Sion C.B.S is that their time is enjoyable, they make lots of new friends, they feel welcome and supported, they learn new subjects, they get involved in extra-curricular subjects and as a result of the education that they receive, they grow and develop into well-rounded individuals who are ready to face adulthood and can make a valuable contribution to society.
